The stars are out in force on Sunday as the celebrate the biggest night in television, the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.
The prestigious event this year takes place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Those with Paramount+ premium subscriptions can stream the Emmys live or watch it on demand, whereas base-tier subscribers have access to on-demand streaming the following day.
This year, Grammy-nominated comedian Nate Bargatze, known for his rise to fame as a stand-up comedian and frequent appearances on Saturday Night Live, will be hosting the ceremony for the first time.
Apple TV+’s acclaimed series Severance is leading the nominations with an outstanding 27 nods, including Best Drama Series and nearly all the drama acting categories.
Colin Farrell’s Batman offshoot, The Penguin, is vying for second place with 24 nominations. Meanwhile, The Studio and HBO’s The White Lotus are both tied with 23 nominations each.
