Following a suspenseful twist in last night’s episode, fans are eagerly anticipating more Love Island USA. However, patience is necessary, as there won’t be a new episode tonight. The franchise observes its customary break on Wednesdays.
When Do New Love Island USA Episodes Come Out?
The beloved reality dating show will return with a fresh episode on Thursday, June 26 at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. Viewers can watch regular episodes on Peacock every day except for Saturdays and Wednesdays. On Saturdays, instead of the regular show, Love Island USA: Aftersun, a talk show that includes former Islanders and contestants who have been eliminated, will be broadcast.
So, Why Doesn’t Love Island USA Air on Wednesdays?
The Wednesday break could potentially be for reasons such as providing rest for the cast and crew, enabling producers to strategize, and allowing editors to catch up. We reached out to Peacock for confirmation, but they did not respond to Decider’s inquiry for a comment.
What Happened on Love Island USA Last Night?
A Casa Amor “like never before” continued, enraging watchers with every twist. Unlike past seasons where original Islanders could choose to recouple, this time, any original not chosen by a bombshell would have to “leave the villa immediately.”
“Back in my day OG girls got to go to casa be grafted and pampered by multiple men trying to get a spot back in the villa,” one user commented on X. “They had the OGs trying to convince bombshells to pick THEM or worry about going home?? Just sick man.”
The twist put the heart of Love Island at stake. Booting the Islanders with real, growing connections — like Olandria, who wouldn’t kiss the bombshells out of loyalty to her couple — makes it seem like producers no longer care if anyone actually finds love, especially as multiple fan favorites with budding connections have already been dumped.
As one viewer put it on X, “the islanders are playing love island in a way I’ve never seen love island played before & it’s cracking me up 😭 they’re f****** playing survivor idk bro.”
When time ran out, Nic and Olandria — two fan favorites with strong connections — were left single and sent packing. Islanders and viewers alike were devastated.
But just as the episode closed, suspenseful music crept in. An SUV pulled up to Nic. America watched with bated breath as the door swung open. It was Olandria. “Quick, hurry up! Get in!” she yelled.
“THE ENDING HAD ME GAGGED LIKE THATS EXACTLY HOW YOU PULL ME BACK IN WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO NEVER WATCH THIS S*** SHOW AGAIN,” a user expressed on X. Many shared the sentiment.
Now, we wait in stifling anticipation for Thursday. Who knows what it could hold?
