Teenage West Brom sensation Reyes Cleary has caught the attention of a string of clubs across Europe, with Arsenal the latest to show an interest in the striker.
The 17-year-old has made just one senior appearance for the Baggies, coming on in the FA Cup defeat to Brighton in January.
However, he has been banging in the goals for the youth sides, scoring his 30th goal of the season across age-range football on Monday.
West Brom have offered the exciting prospect a professional contract, and he has sat on the bench in the Championship, but he is yet to sign a deal and bigger clubs are hoping to swoop.
The Daily Mail report that the Gunners are well aware of the teenager’s talents, but so are Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Salzburg and, closer to home, Newcastle, Southampton and Everton.
West Brom Under-18s boss Peter Gilbert said of the forward: ‘Reyes is a powerful forward player with an eye for goal and is an excellent finisher.’
The European sides may be able to offer Cleary a more direct route to first team football, with the teenager aware of the Bundesliga success of the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund.
Although Southampton will also have that bargaining chip to play, though, having given plenty of opportunities to the likes of Tino Livramento and Armando Broja this season.
