Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour will undergo a medical with Norwich City today ahead of his loan move to Carrow Road.
Gilmour is regarded as a future star at Stamford Bridge but Thomas Tuchel is keen for the Scotland international to get regular first-team football next season.
With N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic ahead of him in the pecking order, the 20-year-old has been given the green light to leave the club on a temporary basis.
Gilmour is expected to be handed a key role in Daniel Farke’s newly promoted side.
The youngster could be the first of several departures at Chelsea over the coming weeks and months with Olivier Giroud also heading towards the exit.
The France international has reportedly agreed a deal to join AC Milan despite the club triggering a contract extension last month.
His countryman Tiemoue Bakayoko also wants a return to the Rossoneri having not played for the Blues since the 2017-18 season, turning down an offer of a new contract form the Blues.
