Beyonce lead the list of most nominations after the honorees for the 63rd annual ceremony were announced during a star-packed, hour-long livestream on Tuesday morning.
The Homecoming talent, 39, managed to snag her nominations despite not releasing an album in 2020.
The 24-time Grammy winner did, however, release the one-off single Black Parade and the feature-length Black Is King on Disney+. She was also featured on the Megan Thee Stallion track Savage.

Taylor Swift followed close behind with six honors stemming from her surprise album Folklore, which was released back in July. She snagged an Album Of The Year nod along with a Song Of The Year nomination for the track Cardigan.
Swift is tied with rapper Roddy Ricch and Dua Lipa. Billie Eilish, who was last year’s big winner, eked out four nominations including Record and Song of the Year for Everything I Wanted.
Interestingly, The Weeknd was left out of the running, despite the critical and commercial success of his last album After Hours.
The remote event, hosted by the Recording Academy, unveiled the most high-profile of the awards’ 84 total categories with presenters Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Heap, Gayle King, Sharon Osbourne, and interim Recording Academy president Harvey Mason Jr., among others.
While presenting the pop categories, Megan learned she had earned her very first Grammy nod. Dua Lipa was also surprised with the same news, seen holding back tears while the stream kept live.

Though 2020 was a unique year for music, there was plenty happening in the down-ballot categories.
Visuals were the focus of the Best Music Video category, which will pit Beyonce’s Brown Skin Girl, against Future featuring Drake’s Life Is Good, Anderson .Paak’s Lockdown, Harry Styles’ Adore You and Goliath by Woodkid.
Bad Bunny, Camilo, Kany Garcia, Ricky Martin, and Debi Nova earned Grammy nominations for Best Latin Pop/Urban Album.
Megan Thee Stallion made a strong showing for a first timer, picking up two rap honors in addition to Record Of The Year and Best New Artist noms.
Along with their mentor Beyonce, Chloe x Halle stood out in the R&B races with three nominations.

Fiona Apple and Phoebe Bridgers took lead in the Rock/Alternative categories, earning several nods each. Bridgers also earned a Best New Artist nomination, bringing her total to four.
In the country music categories, Miranda Lambert topped with three nominations, making her mark in Best Country Album.
Justin Bieber had a bit of cross-genre success, earning four nominations in pop and another country nod for his song 10,000 Hours with duo Dan + Shay.
Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard five honors also spanned categories, maing her mark in Rock, Alternative, Roots and R&B.
Kanye West was recognized in two Contemporary Christian categories for his album Jesus Is King.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Jeopardy favorite Ken Jennings, news anchor Rachel Maddow, journalist, Ronn Farrow and Meryl Streep made up the slate of Best Spoken Word Album nominees.
Jennings is nominated for his voice work on the audiobook for late Jeopardy host Alex Trebek’s memoir The Answer Is… Reflections On My Life.
Jack Antonoff, Dan Auerbach, Dave Cobb, Flying Lotus, Andrew Watt were all recognized in the Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical category.
