American Idol is packing up the band and heading to Disneyland.
Tonight marks the first part of Disney Night, where the seven contestants will not only honor Mother’s Day but also add their unique touch to beloved Disney tunes. Lin-Manuel Miranda, known for composing Moana and Encanto, will be joining as this week’s guest mentor.
By the evening’s conclusion, the competition will narrow down as two contestants will be sent home, leaving just five remaining. Part 2 of Disney Night is scheduled for Monday, May 12, and will see the Top 5 performing Disney-themed songs celebrating both heroes and villains.
