Liberty Poole has recently set the record straight on swirling rumors about her weight loss, particularly addressing speculations that she’s been using the drug Ozempic. The 26-year-old Love Island alum has seen a significant transformation over the past few months, sparking curiosity and debate among her followers.
On Tuesday, Liberty took to her TikTok account to confront these claims directly. In a candid video, she responded to a viewer’s comment suggesting that her slimmer appearance was due to the weight loss drug. She firmly clarified her stance, saying, “As some of you may know, I’ve lost weight recently.”
Despite her noticeable change, Liberty reassured her fans that she still embraces her curves, stating, “I personally still feel like I’ve got my curves, my bunda, my boobies – I feel like I’m still curvy.”
She also touched on the broader issue of body image expectations, humorously noting that on the same video, she received a comment questioning if she was pregnant. “So as a woman with a woman’s body, you cannot win,” she remarked, highlighting the double standards women often face regarding their appearance.
‘I personally still feel like I’ve got my curves, my bunda, my boobies – I feel like I’m still curvy.
‘By the way, guys, on the same video where I got this comment, I also got a comment asking if I was pregnant. So as a woman with a woman’s body, you cannot win.
Liberty Poole has addressed claims that she’s been using Ozempic following her dramatic weight loss
The Love Island star, 26, has undergone a noticeable transformation in recent months
‘Honestly, just be the way that makes you happy.
‘But no, I have not touched Ozempic. In terms of my viewpoint on that, I don’t judge anyone who does it.
‘It’s all our own bodies and you’re entitled to do what you want. But personally, for me, I just didn’t think it was worth the health risk.’
Explaining the reason for her weight loss, Liberty said: ‘So I never used to go to the gym.
‘The reason being, I always attached the gym to caring too much about what you look like on the outside.
‘However, my mum took me to this fitness bootcamp in September and it completely altered my mindset on fitness and how I view it.
‘I was doing six intense exercise classes a day and, literally guys, the amount of self-accomplishment and self-love I felt for putting myself through it and investing in myself – I just fell in love with my fitness a bit more.
‘I’m not going to sit here and say I’m an adamant gym girl because I’m not.
She said: ‘Honestly, just be the way that makes you happy. But no, I have not touched Ozempic’
‘I was living out of bedrooms, I wasn’t really looking after myself, I was scrolling all day, I wasn’t active,’ she explained
‘I had three Maccies the other week, I did two gym sessions yesterday, I had a pizza in the night.
‘So in terms of why I’ve lost weight, it could be a few factors.
‘I was living out of bedrooms, I wasn’t really looking after myself, I was scrolling all day, I wasn’t active.
‘So I’ve improved my healthy meal intake a little bit – still like my stuff – but I feel like it’s more a lifestyle change, a bit of a mindset change, rather than a diet, and that’s the truth.
‘Diets don’t work for me. I was into my fitness before I went on Love Island, but that was more for the goal of what I looked like rather than how it made me feel.
‘Now I’m doing it for how it makes me feel.’
She continued: ‘Whether you’re a size 16 or an 8, it’s literally all about how you feel within, and if you’re happy at whatever size, that’s honestly cool.
‘So you’ve just got to do what’s right for you.’

It comes after Liberty split from boyfriend Joshua Raybould after a year of dating in August.
The pair, who went official with their romance last August, have decided to go their separate ways after failing to see eye to eye on a few things.
Liberty and Joshua split a few weeks ago due to ‘not being a compatible match long-term’ and reports that he was ‘using her for fame’.
A source told The Sun: ‘Liberty and Joshua made the tough decision to end their relationship. They had an amazing year together, especially in the early stages when they were attached at the hip and going on holidays.
‘They loved getting to know each other, despite concerns from her friends that he was using her for fame.
‘But once the honeymoon period was over, it was clear that they weren’t a compatible match long-term. Liberty is focusing on her new business and only wants people around her that are truly supportive.
‘It was fun while it lasted, but they both have different priorities and they couldn’t make it work.’
Daily Mail contacted Liberty and Joshua’s representative at the time for comment.
Since breaking up, Liberty and Joshua have unfollowed each other on social media and Joshua has wiped his Instagram of all the pictures of the couple together.
Liberty has been busy promoting her new swimwear range Uplifted The Label while Joshua has been continuing to post snap of him on nights out and DJing.
