A personal trainer has unveiled a delightful recipe for blueberry muffins that might just change your baking game forever.

Finding the perfect sweet treat that satisfies your cravings while keeping your health goals in check can be a challenge. While it’s perfectly fine to indulge in chocolate now and then, maintaining a balanced lifestyle doesn’t mean you have to forgo all sweets. There are delicious ways to enjoy treats without compromising your nutritional goals.

James White, known for his inspiring recipes and fitness tips on TikTok, recently shared his method for creating “healthy, high-protein blueberry muffins” using just a handful of ingredients. His approach seems almost too simple to believe.

In his recipe, White combines two bananas, 250 grams of peanut butter, two eggs, and 150 grams of blueberries. He mixes these ingredients together until they form a batter with a consistency similar to cake batter.

Next, he pours the mixture into a muffin tin, which most of us probably already have in our kitchen. If not, these tins are readily available at supermarkets and won’t break the bank.

To enjoy these “simple, healthy, and delicious blueberry muffins,” bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C. The result is a sweet treat that aligns with your health-conscious lifestyle.

James joked that it “seems too easy,” but when he took a muffin out of the tray, he said: “That looks stunning”.

He tried one and said: “They are so nice. I do not know why you would eat anything else. My goodness. What was in this? Egg, banana, blueberries and peanut butter?

“There really is no excuse for not eating healthy and enjoying your food. These are four ingredients, in the oven for 15 minutes. That’s all you need. They are so flipping nice.”

As well as being tasty, the muffins are super satisfying and could help you reach your goals.

The PT added: “High protein blueberry muffins. Perfect for if you’re trying to build muscle, but if you’re trying to lose weight, they are also perfect because they’re low in calories and high in protein.

“They’ll fill you up through to your next meal, or have them at the end of the day as a pudding after your main meal.

“Then you can avoid all that sugary nasty stuff that you’d normally want to eat at that time of day. You will end up making these every single day”.

In the comments, people warned about the calorie content of peanut butter. However, others pointed out: “You’re not eating all six of the muffins at once”.
