As the New Year unfolds, many people across the nation are embracing healthier lifestyles and making smarter choices. A popular gadget that has caught the attention of numerous shoppers is aiding them in maintaining their resolutions well beyond the initial weeks of January.

The Renpho smart Bluetooth weighing scales are currently available at a 25% discount on Amazon, now priced at £17.99, down from the usual £23.99. This innovative device tracks and records 13 key body metrics, such as weight, BMI, muscle mass, and body fat percentage, syncing the data seamlessly to the Renpho Health app.

Through the app, users can establish specific weight and body fat targets while monitoring their progress over time, keeping their motivation high. Additionally, the data can be integrated with other apps like Samsung Health, Apple Health, and Fitbit for a comprehensive view.

Featuring a sleek, modern design with a black glass surface and a large digital display, the scales are both stylish and functional. Renpho claims they can accommodate up to 180kg.

At Argos, the Eufy smart electronic scale is also on offer, now available for £30.62, reduced from £45.99. Perfect for bathroom use, this scale is IPX5 waterproof, making it resistant to splashes and water contact from all directions, and it boasts an anti-slip finish.

Similarly, Currys is offering a £7 discount on the Homedics Glo Body Analyser smart scales, now priced at £27.99. These scales not only track 13 different body metrics but also function as a night light, activating from a distance of two feet.

As for the Renpho smart scales, shoppers have left their feedback on Amazon, where the product is rated 4.5/5 from nearly 380,000 reviews. One shopper said: “Accurate readings and easy to sync with the app via Bluetooth, and tracks multiple metrics beyond just weight.

“The digital display is clear and the glass platform is sturdy. Good value for monitoring body composition.”

A second chimed in with their thoughts: “These smart weighing scales have been such a helpful tool for keeping track of my health. The readings are quick and accurate, and I love how seamlessly they connect to the app.

“Seeing my progress laid out in charts and trends makes it easy to stay motivated and understand how my weight changes over time.” A third simply added: “Bought it two years ago, it’s nice and looks nice, easy to use, works well, and is reliable.”

One left feedback as part of a four-star review, saying: “These scales give a lot of information, especially for the price. However, I’m not sure how accurate the body measurements are.

“They are +2lbs out compared to my professional scales, so not the end of the world but not true accuracy either. They are consistent with their readings, though.”

Another added: “For the low cost, this is amazingly good. The Bluetooth and app-based reading doesn’t stay on my phone so it’s a minor faff to reconnect every time, but the app is very good at tracking over the weeks and months.”
