Manuka honey has become a popular product due to its ongoing research into its potential aid for hayfever sufferers and anti-inflammatory benefits. Now the product is rising in skincare and sleep products, as users turn to the ingredient-packed products for extra moisturised skin and help with restful nights’ sleep.
Manuka honey, renowned for its remarkable health benefits, continues to captivate attention, especially for its potential in alleviating hayfever symptoms and offering anti-inflammatory properties. Recently, its popularity has soared in the realm of skincare and sleep aids, as more individuals seek out products enriched with this potent ingredient for enhanced skin hydration and improved sleep quality.
Seizing this trend, a leading brand has slashed the price of its Better Sleep Bundle. Previously priced at £28.49, this collection of four naturally derived products aims to support individuals struggling with sleepless nights, all as part of an enticing pre-Christmas promotion.
The bundle features the Relax Sleep Pillow Spray, infused with essential oils such as lavender, patchouli, and chamomile. It also includes a Bath Oil, formulated with a milk base, essential oils, and the moisturizing power of Manuka honey. Rounding out the selection are a Pulse Point Oil and the Night Time Relax Formula—a jar of 30 capsules blending botanicals like lemon balm, lavender, and hops, with a single capsule recommended before bedtime.
Users of the Sleep Bundle have shared positive feedback about their experiences. One individual remarked, “I have a lot of trouble sleeping, but this spray is helping so much. I am sleeping much better since using it.” Another user reflected on the improved restfulness, stating, “Since using this product, I sleep a lot sounder at night. It works for me.” Additionally, a third user praised the calming effect of the oil.
Manuka honey, harvested from bees that collect nectar from the Manuka bush native to New Zealand, is rich in Methylglyoxal (MGO), a compound celebrated for its antibacterial properties. During the cold winter months, its ability to combat dry skin makes it an invaluable ingredient in skincare.
One such product is the £15 Manuka-packed Thick Night Cream, a 50ml product which is said to help restore dry skin from the brand Manuka Doctor. The 24K Gold Face Oil from the brand is another skincare pick. The 12ml bottle is said to revitalise the skin’s surface, boosting the chances of a radiant look.
Another product on offer is the hydrating Eye Cream (£8), which the brand says works to hydrate and soothe dry, tired eyes. Other products include 250g of Manuka Honey with a strength of 840 MGO, meaning it contains at least 840mg of MGO per kg.
The jar is reduced from £88.99 to £66.75, while a 50ml Night Cream has gone down from £11.25 to £8.44. The Night Cream features collagen-boosting Purified Bee Venom (PBV), which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and leaves skin feeling soft and naturally plumped. The brand recommends using it every night after an evening serum.
Meanwhile, its 24K Gold Face Oil is reduced from £15 to £11.25. Clinically proven to improve skin appearance and reduce wrinkles, users say that their skin is visibly nourished and feels smooth and revitalised after one application.

On the brand’s website, GP and TV health expert Dr Hilary Jones is also quoted as saying: “I believe in Manuka Honey and have been a fan of its properties for many years.”
An alternative brand can be found in Just Bee, which has a jar of Lemon & Ginger Immunity Honey for sale on Amazon for £9.99. The 260g jar is full of pure, natural honey with Vitamin D, C, B6, B12 and echinacea, and although not Manuka honey, it still contains immune system-boosting properties.
Or shoppers could also look to Holland and Barrett, which has a 250g jar of Manuka Lab Manuka Honey with a strength of 300 MGO for £39.99. Its manufacturers say that, as well as eating the honey from the jar, it could be applied directly to the skin or hair.
Customers have been leaving rave reviews on the Manuka Doctor website, with one saying: “I’ve been using Manuka Doctor skincare products for a month and I’m really happy with the results. My skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and looks healthier.
“The products are gentle but effective, and I love that they use natural ingredients with Manuka honey. A great range for everyday skincare.”
Another wrote: “I recently started using these products and already notice a difference. My skin feels smoother and looks more refined. I’m excited to continue using them and look forward to seeing the full results over the next six months.”
Another skincare user said: “I bought the serum and the eye cream. I have dry sensitive skin, so would prefer it without perfume.” Out of the Night Cream reviews that weren’t a full five-star, a few did, however, mention the smell.
As one reviewer highlighted: “It’s got quite a strong/intense smell.” While another user said that they ‘found the smell unpleasant’ but did positively highlight how they had ‘finally found a cream that doesn’t irritate their oily and sensitive skin’.
