A mother from the UK has disclosed her remarkable transformation, shedding 3.5 stone through a singular exercise regime, all achieved without resorting to fat-loss injections.
Residing in York, Bethanie Kendra embarked on her quest to lose postpartum weight, particularly targeting the lower abdomen, a common concern after undergoing two C-sections.
In a TikTok video shared with her 77,000 followers, the wellness advocate detailed her approach to losing over 3.5 stone, offering inspiration and guidance.
Her success story revolves around embracing a nourishing lifestyle centered on whole foods, and she attributes her impressive results largely to incorporating Pilates, especially when paired with weights, into her routine.
“The foremost goal is fat reduction. I managed to shed more than 50 pounds,” she stated at the outset of her social media video.
Featuring before-and-after images, the influencer highlighted the significant changes in her midsection, showcasing her dedication and progress throughout her weight-loss journey.
She then cut to an image of her lower body, which appeared tanned and toned in an electric blue gym set, having spent several months working on her figure.
‘The only way you can lose weight is a calorie deficit. You want to focus on nutrition and diet, nutrition and diet, nutrition and diet,’ she explained.

Bethanie eats a high-protein diet consisting of wholefoods, healthy fats and fibre, and is expert at practising ‘portion control’ to keep her figure trim.
She insisted that she has never counted calories but has instead focused on eating ‘intuitively’.
She also emphasised the importance of ‘balance, moderation’ and ‘healing your relationship with food’.
She says she has never used ‘fad diets’ but instead made small lifestyle changes that she knew she could keep.
‘It’s all about a change of lifestyle so that it can be long term thing,’ she told her followers.
Alongside eating a healthy diet, Bethanie also took up a new form of exercise, one which she now believes is responsible for her incredible transformation.
‘The second thing I’ve done is Pilates, specifically strength Pilates – so with light weights,’ she said.
‘This is honestly all I’ve done. I’ve lost weight and I’ve started some kind of strength training exercise.’
Pilates is a low-impact exercise system designed to improve overall physical strength, posture, and flexibility.

Alongside a healthy lifestyle – where she prioritises eating wholefoods – the mother-of-two said there was one type of exercise in particular that helped her shift extra pounds. Pictured after her weight-loss
Because Pilates focuses on exercising the core muscles, Bethanie has not only been able to ditch weight gain following her C-section, but has been able to tone her mid-section.
‘As someone who has lost and gained weight three times, twice from having children, I can honestly say Pilates after the fat loss is what has really toned my stomach and filled it out with definition and muscle.
‘When you do Pilates, you are strengthening so many teeny, tiny muscles that get missed out in other forms of exercise, almost everything is working your core,’ she said.
Additionally, Pilates encourages people to focus in on their breathing, a factor which improves core activation, according to Bethanie.
The mother added that she didn’t even need to leave the house, but did most of her Pilates workouts from the comfort of her own living room by following YouTube tutorials.

People were quick to gush over Bethanie’s impressive transformation
When she began doing Pilates, she used 1kg weights to boost the effects of the exercise but has since bumped up to 2.5kg weights.
Viewers were left wowed by Bethanie’s incredible results, with many taking to the comments to compliment her slender physique.
One wrote: ‘You would never be able to tell you’d had a section! I’m 3 weeks post partum and I’m so scared I’ll never lose the shelf.’
‘The arm definition is definitioning… just actual art work at this point girl,’ a second added.
Describing her post-partum glow up, the mother said the first step of her journey was realising she needed to ‘prioritise me’.
This meant practising ‘self-care’, showering, dressing, applying makeup and meal prepping.
‘You cannot pour from an empty cup. Realising that if you take care of yourself, you are taking care of everyone else too,’ she said.
