How you can donate in this year's United Way of the CSRA's 'Stuff the Bus' drive

() – The United Way of the CSRA, along with our Giving Your Best partners, are collaborating for the yearly “Stuff the Bus” school supplies drive.

Tangible school supplies for United Way of the CSRA can be contributed at NewsChannel 6 Television Park.

Here are some of the items the drive is gathering:

  • Backpacks
  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • Dividers
  • Paper
  • Composition notebooks
  • Glue sticks
  • Folders
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Binders
  • Index cards
  • Pencils
  • Calculators
  • Kid-safe scissors
  • Tissues
  • Markers
  • Erasers
  • Highlighters
  • Pens
  • Flash drives

This year’s Stuff The Bus events will take place at:

  • SRP Park Greenjackets Game – Sunday, July 13 – 5:05 p.m.
  • The Kroc Center – Friday, July 18 – 9 a.m. to Noon
  • Walmart in Waynesboro – Saturday, July 19 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
