Let the battle between metal and magic begin!

The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe on Disney+, Ironheart, is set to be available for streaming soon, and it’s now clear how quickly viewers can binge-watch it.

This week, the streaming platform revealed that the Ryan Coogler-produced series will launch its six episodes over two weeks. The initial set of episodes is scheduled to release at 6 p.m. PST on Tuesday, June 24. This block will consist of the pilot episode, “Take Me Home,” followed by Episodes 2 and 3, titled “Will The Real Natalie Please Stand Up” and “We In Danger, Girl.”

On July 1, fans can catch the rest of the season, as episodes 4, 5, and 6 become available on Disney+. The titles for Episodes 4 and 5 are “Bad Magic” and “Karma’s a Glitch,” whereas Episode 6, “The Past Is the Past,” concludes Season 1. Whether this will also be the series finale is something viewers will have to wait to discover.

The show follows Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a genius inventor and science wiz who fans were first introduced to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as she navigates life back in her hometown of Chicago. The show is set after the events of Wakanda Forever and Riri is intent on making her mark on the world by crafting a tech suit so advanced that it rivals Tony Stark’s Iron Man creation.

On the magic side is the cool and mysterious Parker Robbins a.k.a. “The Hood” (Anthony Ramos), who makes an offer to Riri upon her return to Illinois that she cannot refuse. Also starring in the show is Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam and Anji White.

The series is the latest in a line of Marvel shows, which have been hit or miss for Disney+ as some fans have expressed “superhero fatigue” over the number of projects the studio has been releasing. Since 2021, Marvel has made more than a dozen shows, including major hits like WandaVision and Loki, and other less-popular programs like Echo and Secret Invasion.

The fatigue has also played a role in the MCU’s box-office numbers for recent projects as both Thunderbolts* (now renamed The New Avengers) and Captain America: Brave New World have not brought in profits the way the studio was pulling for. Marvel is hoping for that tune to change, however, with the release of July’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon-Moss Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. That film releases in theaters on July 25.

How To Watch Ironheart

The only place you’ll be able to watch Ironheart during its initial run is on Disney+.

Disney+ offers a number of subscription options, so you can find the one that works for you. With ads, a subscription costs $9.99/month; without ads, it’s $15.99/month or $159.99/year.

There are also Disney+ bundles with Hulu, Max, and ESPN+, so you can subscribe to up to three services at once and save over 40% every month. The bundles are available in a few different configurations, starting at $10.99/month for Disney+ and Hulu with ads, and going up to $29.99/month for Disney+, Hulu, and Max ad-free.
