Is Peacock Available on Roku?

Happy Peacock launch day! NBC’s new streaming service is officially open for business. If you’re a fan of classic comedy, Peacock Premium offers every episode of Cheers, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, and The King of Queens. The premium tier also offers the first two seasons of Paramount’s smash hit Yellowstone and the hotly-anticipated Psych movie sequel.

Peacock’s free tier is also nothing to sneeze at, offering hundreds of iconic shows like Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, Friday Night Lights, and, of course, the zany ’90s staple known as Saved by the Bell. Must-See TV has officially become Must-Stream TV!

How can you watch Peacock? Is Peacock available on Roku? Here’s everything you need to know.

IS PEACOCK AVAILABLE ON ROKU?

Nope. Just like the whole HBO Max/Roku imbroglio, Peacock isn’t currently available on Roku. While a deal could eventually be reached, CNBC reports that the sticking points include “issues over control of user data and sharing of advertising inventory.”

It should be noted that HBO Max launched on May 27, 2020 and, as of this writing, is still not available on Roku or Amazon devices.

IS PEACOCK ON AMAZON FIRE TV OR FIRE STICK?

Nope. Peacock isn’t currently available to stream on Amazon devices.

HOW TO WATCH PEACOCK:

The easiest way to watch is via the Peacock website, but NBC’s new streaming service is also available on Apple devices, Google platforms and devices, Microsoft’s Xbox One family of devices, VIZIO SmartCast TVs, and LG Smart TVs.

Comcast’s eligible Xfinity X1 and Flex customers, as well as eligible Cox Contour customers, will have Peacock Premium included with their service at no additional cost. Beginning July 20, Peacock will be available on Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

HOW TO WATCH PEACOCK FOR FREE:

While Peacock offers a free tier, there’s still a way to watch Peacock Premium ($4.99/month, $49.99/year) for free.

Peacock offers a seven-day free trial of both Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus. Also, as our own Clair Spellberg wrote, users who sign up via the Android app or another Google platform will enjoy an extended free trial that lasts through October 15.
