INDIANAPOLIS — Caitlin Clark will sit out this weekend’s 3-Point Contest and WNBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis.

In a message shared on X by the Indiana Fever on Thursday afternoon, Clark confirmed that she was “incredibly sad and disappointed” to miss out on the 3-Point Contest and the All-Star Game.

“I’m so excited for Indy to host the WNBA All-Star this weekend. I want to thank the Indianapolis Host Committee and all of the people that have put endless work in over the past year to put this event together,” Clark said. “I know this will bethe best All-Star yet. I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can’t participate in the 3-point contest or the All-Star Game. I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I’m looking forward to helping Sandy coach our team to a win.”

Clark has been struggling with a right groin injury, which forced her to miss the Fever’s game against the Liberty before the All-Star Weekend.

ESPN is set to broadcast the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge and the 3-Point Contest from Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday at 8 p.m. The 2025 WNBA All-Star Game will tip off at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. It will air on ABC, Disney+ and ESPN+
