CHICAGO (WLS) — In a collaborative effort, ABC7 Chicago, the League of Women Voters of Illinois and Chicago, along with Univision Chicago, hosted a live and uninterrupted broadcast of the 2026 Republican U.S. Senate Primary Forum. This event took place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11.

Anchored by Judy Hsu of ABC7, the hour-long discussion featured inquiries from political reporter Craig Wall and WGBO/Univision Chicago anchor/reporter Enrique Rodriguez. The forum welcomed three Republican hopefuls vying for a U.S. Senate seat in Illinois:

– Casey Chlebek

– Jeannie Evans

– Don Tracy, former chair of the Illinois Republican Party

The event was streamed live on multiple platforms, including ABC7Chicago.com, ABC7 Chicago’s news app, and the network’s Facebook page, as well as ABC7’s 24/7 streaming channels. For those who missed the live broadcast, the forum will be aired on ABC7 following the 10:30 p.m. newscast on Friday, February 13. Additionally, Univision will provide a live translation on its digital platforms, with a broadcast scheduled on its main channel at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 14.
