Ben Chilwell will have a scan on Thursday to assess the hamstring injury he suffered against Brighton.

Defender Chilwell was forced off in injury time of Chelsea’s 1-0 Carabao Cup win over the Seagulls on Wednesday night.

He received treatment on the pitch before he was able to walk around the field alongside members of Chelsea’s medical staff as he came off.

Chelsea will be sweating on the results of tests to determine the extent of the injury.
