Approximately 100,000 Crayan brand mattresses, exclusively sold on Amazon, are under recall due to concerns that they fail to meet federal safety flammability standards and pose a fire risk.

The mattresses subject to recall were available for purchase at Amazon.com between July 2022 and June 2024, priced at $100-$220. The retailer, Foshanshi Liyue Jiaju Youxian Gongsi, operating as Crayan Inc. of China, advises consumers to cease using these mattresses immediately.

Here’s how to identify the affected items in the Crayan mattress recall.

  • Size(s) in inches: 10-inch mattresses and 12-inch mattresses
  • Bed size(s): Twin, Full, Queen and King
  • All were sold compressed in a box
  • Single-sided Crayan mattresses will show “Crayan” printed on a grey side panel, in addition to a white knit quilted top
  • A white label sewn into the mattress cover will show fiber content, size and show “WG/P Foundation” on the label

Customers can contact Crayan to obtain a full refund. To qualify for the refund, customers must permanently label the mattress with “RECALLED” in large letters across the top white panel and send a photo of the labeled mattress to Crayan’s Hotmail address before receiving the refund.

Crayan says it’s contacting all known purchasers directly.

If you have further questions or concerns, you can contact the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
