    Over the weekend, a retired nurse tragically lost his life in a violent stabbing incident in Polk County, as reported by local deputies. The heart-wrenching event unfolded in the town of Davenport, leaving the community in mourning.

    The Polk County Sheriff’s Office shared that the victim, a 65-year-old man, was a cherished member of his neighborhood. Known for his generosity and willingness to lend a hand to those experiencing tough times, his loss is deeply felt by those who knew him.
