ATLANTA, Ga. () — The Powerball jackpot remained unclaimed on Wednesday for the 38th time, causing the total to rise to $950 million. However, a Savannah resident found luck through a different lottery win.

This resident purchased a lottery ticket online at galottery.com, which led to a $200,000 prize. The win was thanks to the $1 Power Play option, which increased the original prize from $50,000.

The winning numbers were 09-12-22-41-61, with a Powerball of 25 and a 4X Power Play multiplier.

The current jackpot, valued at $950 million with a cash option of $428.9 million, is the sixth-largest in the game’s history since it began in 1992.

The largest jackpot recorded was $2.04 billion, which was won in California in 2022. It also served as the largest lottery prize ever.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292,201,228. The $1 million prize has odds of 1 in 11,688,054.

The next drawing will be Saturday, Aug. 30. Tickets are $2.
