(NEXSTAR) — Approximately 57,240 frozen burrito meals available at Target stores across the country are being recalled due to reports of the product containing undisclosed shrimp. This presents a significant risk of severe or potentially life-threatening allergic reactions in individuals with shellfish allergies.

One Frozen, LLC is initiating the recall of six specific batches of Good & Gather Southwest-Style Burrito Bowl Blend frozen meals distributed to Target locations since April.

The bags, which were distributed in all 50 states, can be identified by:

  • Size: 12 oz bags
  • UPC: 085239931356
  • Lot codes: L5055-1, L5055-2, L5055-3, L5055-4, L5055-5, and L5055-6
  • Best if Used By date: 08/24/2026

While shellfish allergies are relatively common, some individuals may experience rapid anaphylaxis—within seconds or minutes of exposure—according to the Mayo Clinic. Milder symptoms can include hives, swelling around the lips or face, stomach issues, and lightheadedness.
