ROAN MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WJHL) — Roan Mountain State Park hosted its annual Fall-O-Dendron Festival on Saturday.

Craft vendors, live music, and fall-themed food brought the season into full swing. Leaves in Roan Mountain are at near-peak.

Brian Tipton, the president of the Roan Mountain Citizens’ Club, said the money from vendor fees goes back into the community.

“Every dollar the club generates is reinvested into the community,” he stated. “We have our scholarship program, which receives a significant portion of the funds. Additionally, the money is allocated to local schools and our local volunteer fire department. It also supports beautification projects within the town that utilize these funds too.”

This year marked the fourth year of the Fall-O-Dendron Festival.
