EPA Launches Probe Into $20 Billion Climate Fund, Citing ‘Reckless’ Mismanagement

TAMPA, Fla. (April 11, 2025) – Tampa Police are actively investigating an attempted bank robbery that occurred late Friday afternoon in the New Tampa area.

Officers were dispatched to the Truist Bank located at 16102 Bruce B. Downs Blvd at approximately 3:55 PM today, April 11, 2025, following reports of the incident.

According to preliminary reports, an unidentified male suspect entered the bank and implied to employees that he possessed a weapon. Before obtaining any money, the suspect abandoned the attempt and fled the bank on foot. The direction of his escape is currently unknown.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after the call but the suspect had already fled. Detectives are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the attempted robbery.
