Salvation Army of Augusta, Escape Outdoors launching donation drive

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Augusta branch of The Salvation Army has teamed up with Escape Outdoors to conduct a donation drive aimed at helping the community stay cool and hydrated.

All through May, The Salvation Army is gathering both boxed fans and bottled water. These will be distributed to clients at the Center of Hope shelter and others in the area who may lack stable access to air conditioning or clean drinking water.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Escape Outdoors – 377 Furys Ferry Rd, Martinez, GA 30907
  • Escape Outdoors – 387 Highland Ave, Augusta, GA 30909
  • Any Salvation Army location, including the Center of Hope, the Kroc Center, and all local Family Stores
