Three arrested in Augusta for several alleged car break-ins; gun, tools seized

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Late Friday night, just as the clock ticked past 11:00 p.m., deputies from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office sprang into action following reports of a series of vehicle break-ins along Goshen Road’s 1600 block.

Upon arrival, the deputies quickly accessed surveillance footage from the vicinity. The video clearly captured several suspects attempting to break into multiple vehicles, setting the stage for a swift response from law enforcement.

Without delay, additional deputies scoured the nearby area, their attention soon drawn to a gray Hyundai Elantra, parked in a manner that aroused suspicion.
