Big Time Rush Set to Perform in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A renowned boy band is heading to Champaign, with tickets available for purchase this week.

Big Time Rush is set to take the stage at the State Farm Center on January 24, 2026. The venue will open its doors at 5:30 p.m., with the show kicking off at 7 p.m. Secure your spot for the “In Real Life Worldwide” tour when tickets become available on Friday, October 24, at 10 a.m.

This tour promises to feature every song from each episode of their popular show.

The Big Time Rush TV series debuted on Nickelodeon in November 2009, chronicling the journey of four Minnesota hockey players who are chosen to form a band and relocate to Hollywood. Band members Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan later embarked on a global musical journey, releasing several albums.

After the show concluded in 2013, the band members went their separate ways. However, they reunited years later, performing at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Philadelphia and selling out shows in Chicago and New York City in 2021. They also released “Call It Like I See It,” their first single in eight years.

In 2022, the group embarked on their “Forever Tour” and released several singles. The next year, they released Another Life, which was their first new album in a decade. The band also began the “Can’t Get Enough Tour” tour in 2023.

“Across 2022 and 2023 the band’s reunion resulted in over 600,000 tickets sold,” State Farm Center said in a news release about the event.

In 2024, the band ended the year with Big Time Rush On Ice, which was described as a “concert spectacle on ice.”
