Blaze Ravages DeLand Home on West Voorhis Avenue: Residents Safe

    DeLAND, Fla. – On Monday evening, a house in DeLand was consumed by flames despite the swift efforts of fire crews in Volusia County to subdue the blaze.

    Emergency responders from DeLand Fire Department, Volusia County Fire Rescue, and Orange City Fire Department rushed to the scene on West Voorhis Avenue, near Woodland Boulevard, to tackle the fire.

    The inferno originated on the first floor and rapidly spread, ultimately engulfing the entire residence.

    Fortunately, no injuries were reported by the fire crews on site.

    The incident is currently under investigation by the state fire marshal’s office to determine the fire’s cause.
