A recent development has emerged in the mysterious case of Chance Englebert, a Wyoming man who vanished several years ago.

Englebert disappeared in 2019 at the age of 25 while on a family visit to Gering, Nebraska.

The disappearance followed a disagreement with his wife and her relatives. During the dispute, he expressed a desire to return to Wyoming, exited the vehicle, and started walking away.

Surveillance footage captured Englebert’s last known movements as he walked through Gering, approximately an hour before a storm rolled into the area.

On Thursday, the Scotts Bluff County attorney released a statement regarding skeletal remains discovered at Scotts Bluff National Monument, located to the west of Gering.
