NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. () – If you’re a fan of Brinkley’s Chop House, then Brink’s Tavern may be right up your alley.

North Augusta’s latest restaurant addition features plenty of good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and more.

In this installment of “Your Hometown Road Trip,” the team interviewed Executive Chef Edward DeFelice to discuss the new restaurant, what sets it apart from Brinkley’s Chop House, and the significance of community support.

What’s this place all about?

“This establishment is our casual concept, while Brinkley’s Chop House is an exclusive one. We believed North Augusta needed a more inclusive option, so we created what we like to call North Augusta’s living room. We’ve got something for everyone, from the massive LED wall behind us to a cozy lounge area, a 25-seat bar, 11 large TVs, and a casual seafood-based menu. It has the feel of a sports bar without being one, but we’ve prioritized offering exceptional food.”

What have people been saying about the food?

“Our guests have been enjoying the variety of flavors, from seafood options and oysters to fried chicken. We’re trying to offer a range of dishes that people will love. We have excellent burgers and sandwiches, suitable for lunch and dinner. Our aim is to craft a place where people can reconnect, whether you come with family to watch a sports game or meet friends for late-night drinks.”

What do you feel like I have to have before I go?

“Our seafood towers are a must-try, as you won’t find anything like them in the North Augusta Market. We receive fresh seafood daily, which is one of our standout offerings.”

What does it mean to be able to grow in this area and now have two restaurants?

“I have an amazing team that we’ve developed over the years, comprising close friends who go beyond being employees; they’re family. Many have grown alongside me through various roles I’ve held. Having this fantastic team I trust, who shares my commitment to quality and values, makes everything easier. The support from Cimberlie and Terry Brinkley is also invaluable. They’re incredible people who help make our dreams a reality, and I can’t express that enough.”

Brink’s Tavern is located at 200 Georgia Ave, North Augusta, S.C.
