The Bristol Tennessee Municipal Regional Planning Commission has given its unanimous backing to a rezoning proposal that could transform a section of King College Road into a planned residential development. This decision paves the way for the proposal to be presented to the City Council for final approval. Should the council give its nod, the area will transition from its current designation of R-1A Single Family Residential, allowing for new development possibilities.
