The Bristol, Tennessee City Council has decided to extend Vince Turner’s leadership by appointing him for another year as mayor. As dictated by the city charter, the council is tasked with choosing a mayor and vice-mayor at the year’s inaugural meeting. During Tuesday night’s session, the council members unanimously agreed to retain Turner in the mayoral role.
