Chase across county lines ends in arrest in Burke County

() – A shooting suspect out of Jenkins County is in custody after a chase across county lines into Burke County, Monday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., Georgia State Troopers identified a vehicle on US 25 in Jenkins County that matched the description of one driven by a male suspect involved in a shooting.

The suspect then lost control of his vehicle at the US 25 Bypass near Burke County High School and was then taken into custody.
