Irvine Get Out of Jail Free card

A driver in California recently attempted an imaginative way to evade a traffic ticket, according to local law enforcement.

The Fullerton Police Department shared on Tuesday that, in a humorous twist, the motorist presented the officer with a Monopoly “Get Out of Jail Free” card, trying to sidestep the citation.

Though the gesture provided a moment of levity, the officer informed the driver that creativity was duly noted, but the card couldn’t replace a legitimate legal argument. The officer humorously suggested keeping the card for a more appropriate occasion.
