ORLANDO, Fla. – This Valentine’s Day promises a delightful blend of sunshine and ideal weather!

Temperatures are set to soar into the upper 70s and low 80s inland, while coastal areas will enjoy a more temperate climate in the lower 70s. The dry conditions make it a perfect day for romantic dinners or leisurely sunset walks.

    Valentine’s Day forecast

For those attending the United Rentals 300, expect comfortable and enjoyable weather throughout the event.

    Race today

Early on Sunday, expect pleasant weather with gradually increasing cloud cover. As the day progresses, it will become warm, humid, and breezy, with temperatures peaking in the mid-80s in Orlando.

Current forecast models indicate a possibility of showers and storms moving in after 6 p.m.

The Daytona 500 is expected to start under favorable conditions, although the weather later in the evening will require close monitoring.

    Severe Risk

There is a risk for strong to severe storms Sunday night into early Monday. A few storms could bring:

    • Heavy downpours

    • Wind gusts up to 50 mph

    • Frequent lightning

    Storm hazards

Some early morning rain is possible Monday, but most of the heavier activity should move out before sunrise. A few lingering showers can’t be ruled out Monday afternoon.

After that? The rest of the week looks mild and dry.
