One hospitalized following two-vehicle Champaign crash

In Champaign, Illinois, a traffic incident on Friday afternoon led to two individuals being taken to the hospital by ambulance, with one of them cited by the police.

The collision occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on Mattis Avenue, close to Bloomington Road. According to Joe Lamberson, the public information officer for the Champaign Police Department, the accident was triggered when a car exited a private driveway and was struck by another vehicle.
