EVANS, Ga. ()- Tonight through Friday, more than two thousand seniors will finally walk across the stage and grab their diplomas.

There won’t be anything new this year, but they will continue to honor students for their great achievements and hard work.

The executive director of curriculum instruction says this diploma is something students have been working hard to obtain.

“It represents the ultimate celebration within our school district, and it’s what our students strive towards, having dedicated 13 years of their lives. Therefore, we are thrilled. We aim to create the best possible ceremony because students have earned it through their hard work to achieve this milestone of obtaining their high school diploma,” stated Dr. Brian Campbell.

Evans High School commencement is tonight starting at 6:30pm here at Evans Towne Center park.

In the event of inclement weather, graduations will be moved to the Columbia County Performing Arts Center.

Each commencement will be live-streamed, which you can access here.
