Comedian Matt Rife buys Ed and Lorraine Warren's museum and Annabelle doll

(NEXSTAR) – Matt Rife, a comedian, announced on his Facebook and Instagram that he has purchased Ed and Lorraine Warren’s residence and Occult Museum located in Monroe, Connecticut.

The Warrens were paranormal investigators whose work inspired ‘The Conjuring’ movie series. Their home and museum contain a collection of supernatural artifacts from their investigations.

Rife bought the property with YouTuber Elton Castee, and both have mentioned that they will serve as the legal custodians of the house and its haunted collection for at least five years, which includes the notorious Annabelle doll.

Annabelle recently returned to the property after participating in the “Devils on the Run Tour” last month, during which a paranormal investigator accompanying the doll passed away unexpectedly.

Rife expressed his enthusiasm for the film series and revealed plans to offer overnight stays and tours at the museum and house in the foreseeable future.
