Clearwater Public Library Comic Con Returns April 20

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Public Library System will host their 2024 Clearwater Library Comic Con event on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at a new location, the North Greenwood Recreation Complex, 900 N. MLK Jr. Ave.

This fun, family-friendly event is free.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite superhero or villain and participate in a costume contest; there will be one for kids and adults.

There will be more than 40 guests, comic artists and vendors, informational panel discussions, food trucks, and more.

  • Panel Room: 11 a.m. – Creators on A.I. Panel Discussion

  • Main Stage: Noon – Kid’s Costume Showcase

  • Panel Room: 1 p.m. – Lightsaber Demo with the Outer Rim Guilds
  • Panel Room: 2 p.m. – Celebrating Women Writers Panel Discussion

The event is presented by the Clearwater Public Library System and the Clearwater Parks & Recreation Department.
