The National Park Service has launched an investigation into an illegal deer poaching incident within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Authorities are appealing to the public for any tips that might assist in identifying the suspect responsible for the poaching. This incident occurred in the fields close to Sparks Lane in the Cades Cove area. Park rangers were alerted to the situation following a report of a deer being unlawfully killed.
