Free digital footprint workshop in Danville for local businesses

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The Trep School, a consulting firm based in Danville, is assisting small business owners in boosting their online visibility with a complimentary event later this month.

The organization is set to hold its inaugural Digital Footprint Audit Workshop on Aug. 28, which will guide entrepreneurs on enhancing their online marketing strategies.

Trep School founder and CEO Tricia Teague said investing in small businesses can bring massive returns to a community.

“Small businesses tend to employ the local community,” Teague explained. “They’ll hire their neighbors, creating new job opportunities for local residents. If 30 businesses each hired just three individuals, it would result in nearly 100 new jobs.”

The workshop will cover a range of topics, from simple actions like listing your business on Google and Apple maps, to more extensive tasks such as creating and managing a personal website.

You can register for the event online.
