BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – In Brevard County, Florida Highway Patrol officers are on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that occurred early Saturday morning. The collision left a man and a woman critically injured and in the hospital.
Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 12:17 a.m. following an accident on State Road 520 near Clearlake Road. The crash involved an unidentified sedan and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The sedan fled the scene, leaving the motorcycle’s riders, a 55-year-old man from Cocoa and a 54-year-old woman from Merritt Island, to be transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center, according to the FHP.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be a gray Hyundai sedan, which is expected to have significant front-end damage. The car is likely missing its grill, fog lights, and most of its front bumper, as per the Florida Highway Patrol.
