LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — R&B artist D4vd has called off the rest of his U.S. tour following the discovery of a teenage girl’s body in a Tesla linked to him, TMZ reports.
Despite some ticket websites still displaying upcoming show availability, various sources, including TMZ, confirm that his team has opted to cancel all remaining U.S. tour dates.
His concerts in San Francisco and Los Angeles were intended to be the last U.S. performances of his “Withered 2025 World Tour.” As of Friday, tickets for his European tour were still being sold.
On September 8th, authorities discovered the dismembered remains of a 15-year-old girl in the front trunk of a Tesla, left abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and later moved to a tow yard. The Los Angeles Police Department revealed the car was registered under Burke, complete with Texas plates.
Earlier this week, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore in Riverside County in April 2024. The medical examiner noted that her body was severely decomposed.
Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
D4vd’s connection to the case remains a focus of the investigation.
TMZ reported that Rivas’s mother mentioned her daughter had a boyfriend named David, and it was noted that both D4vd and Rivas shared identical “Shhh…” tattoos on their index fingers.
