() Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, told he is calling for the release of all the Jeffrey Epstein files, including the alleged “list,” on Monday, saying this is not a partisan issue, but rather a matter of transparency following the fallout from the DOJ and FBI’s investigation findings this month.

“This privileged resolution is calling for the Administration to release ALL FILES related to Epstein. Including the supposed ‘list’ that Trump and Bondi paraded around very publicly just a few months ago and on the campaign trail,” Veasey said.

When asked if Democrats will see this as an opening by , he replied, “This isn’t just about an opening. It is about transparency. It is about rooting out corruption and chaos. It is about Us vs. The billionaires. It always has been. Democrats fought the Big Ugly Bill it was a tax break for billionaires at the expense of hard-working Americans. Medicaid, SNAP, etc. This is a continuation of our fight.”

He also said in part on X, “Put up or Shut up!”

Rep. Veasey’s X post included screenshots of Trump’s Truth Social post lambasting the MAGA-verse Epstein investigation controversy and the reported rift between the DOJ and FBI over the handling of the probe.

Dem. Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., also called for the release of the files on July 12.

He wrote on X, “Why are the Epstein files still hidden? Who are the rich & powerful being protected?

“On Tuesday, I’m introducing an amendment to force a vote demanding the FULL Epstein files be released to the public. The Speaker must call a vote & put every Congress member on record.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) expressed his support for legislation to reveal the Epstein files in full.

“Option one, Donald Trump, Pam Bondi and the MAGA extremists intentionally lied to the American people for years about the Jeffrey Epstein situation. That’s option one. Option two is that, in fact, there’s reason for the American people to be concerned as it relates to what information has not been released that could be damaging to the Trump administration and the friends and family of the Trump administration and they’re billionaire, corrupt supporters, and so they’re actively engaging in a cover up,” he said Monday.

Trump administration: DOJ, FBI working on Epstein files in ‘lockstep’

On Monday, Deputy White House Press Secretary Harrison Fields said the Justice Dept and FBI officials will continue to work in “lockstep with unprecedented success.”

Trump threw his support behind Bondi in a Truth Social post, writing: “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson told reporters on Monday that he trusts the White House will “make the right decision” regarding the Epstein files. When asked if he has faith in Bondi, he replied, “I do.”
