OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A car was hit by gunfire twice during an apparent road-rage incident on Florida’s Turnpike on Saturday morning, as reported by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the incident happened on the Turnpike near mile marker 244 around 9:45 a.m.
The driver of one of the vehicle’s involved said someone in another vehicle shot at their car, striking the window twice.
No injuries were reported, deputies said.
According to the sheriff’s office, no information was provided on the suspect’s vehicle and no other information was released.
The Florida Highway Patrol will be conducting the investigation, deputies said.
This shooting marks the second road-rage event in Osceola County in just a few days. Earlier in the week, a driver narrowly escaped injury when grazed by a bullet, but the passenger sustained a gunshot wound to the face on Tuesday.

Following the incident, law enforcement officials announced the arrest of a suspect in South Florida. Josue Gabriel Astacio, 30, was taken into custody by the Miami-Dade County Robbery Intervention Unit in Hialeah.
