These 40 restaurants are offering veterans free meals and discounts on Veterans Day

(SavorNation) — On November 11, restaurants nationwide are expressing their gratitude to active-duty service members and veterans by offering complimentary meals, bounce-back cards, and various discounts.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s is extending a special offer on Veterans Day, providing active-duty military, veterans, reserves, and members of the National Guard with a selection of free full-sized entrees. The menu includes seven enticing options: a 6-ounce top sirloin, a classic bacon cheeseburger, a chicken tenders platter, double crunch shrimp, Fiesta Lime Chicken, oriental chicken salad, and three-cheese chicken penne.

Additionally, these honored guests will receive a $5 bounce-back card. This can be used for their next dine-in, to-go, or delivery order within a three-week redemption period, as noted by a company spokesperson.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse

BJ’s is giving guests with a valid military ID a free chocolate chunk Pizookie when dining in on 

Veterans Day. Veterans and active-duty service members who purchase an entree while dining in will also receive a free appetizer bounce back redeemable Nov. 12-31, according to a company representative.

Blaze Pizza

The made-to-order pizza chain is giving a free one-topping pizza to veterans and active-duty military personnel on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson. Additionally, Blaze Pizza will donate $1 from every pizza sold on Veterans Day to Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that helps military families with education.

Buffalo’s Cafe

Veterans and active-duty military will receive 25% off their meal, excluding alcohol, when dining in on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Capriotti’s

This sandwich chain is offering veterans and active military a free small sub with purchase on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen

Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen is offering veterans and active-duty military members a free appetizer or dessert on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Chili’s

Veterans and active military personnel can redeem a free entree at Chili’s on Veterans Day. Options include the Oldtimer with cheese and fries, chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, three-count chicken crispers or soup with side salad.

Cody’s Original Roadhouse

This Florida chain is giving all veterans and active-duty military who dine-in on Veterans Day a free entree, either a half rack of ribs or a grilled barbecue chicken breast, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Cracker Barrel

Veterans and active-duty military can get a free Sunrise Pancake Breakfast on Veterans Day, according to a company representative. The breakfast includes two buttermilk pancakes topped with whipped butter and syrup with two eggs or choice of breakfast meat.

Dog Haus

This gourmet hot dog chain is offering veterans and active-duty military who dine in on Veterans Day a free Haus Dog, confirmed a company spokesperson. Haus Dogs come in seven varieties, such as the Old Town with smoked bacon, caramelized onions, chipotle aioli, pickled jalapenos and cotija cheese.

Eddie Merlot’s

This fine-dining steakhouse chain is offering all veterans and active-duty service members a free Eddie’s Prime Cheeseburger with fries on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Fazoli’s

Veterans and active-duty military can get a free spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce when dining in on Veterans Day with code VET25, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Friendly’s

Friendly’s is offering veterans and active-duty military a free burger and a beverage in-store on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Freddy’s

Freddy’s, known for its frozen custard and steakburgers, is offering all veterans and active military personnel who visit Freddy’s on Veterans Day a free Freddy’s Combo meal card, redeemable through Dec. 31.

Golden Corral

All active-duty military personnel, retirees, reservists, guardsmen and veterans can get a free buffet meal with beverage on Veterans Day from 4 p.m. to close, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock Cafe is giving all active and retired military members a free classic smash burger on Veterans Day, according to a company representative. The offer can be combined with the restaurant’s 15% military discount.

Hurricane Grill & Wings

This Florida-based restaurant chain is giving veterans and active-duty military a free entree on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson. Choose between 10 bone-in wings, beer-battered fish and chips, steakburger, chicken Caesar salad, buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich or chicken BLT tacos.

LongHorn Steakhouse

The casual dining steak restaurant is giving veterans and active-duty military members 10% off their meal, along with a free appetizer or dessert, on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Mo’Bettahs

A Hawaiian chain in Nevada and Utah, Mo’Bettahs is giving veterans and active-duty military members $5 off in-store or on the app on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Native Grill & Wings

This Arizona chain is giving veterans and active-duty military a free ½ LB Stripper Combo (boneless, skinless chicken tenders), ½ LB Boneless Combo (hand-breaded boneless wings), Native Chicken Sandwich with fries or #MyNative Burger with fries (classic burger with lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles and your choice of cheese) on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Old Chicago

The deep-dish pizza chain is offering all veterans and active-duty service members a free meal from a select menu with purchase of a beverage on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Olive Garden

Veterans and active-duty service members who dine-in on Veterans Day can redeem a complimentary entree from a special menu, which includes dishes such as chicken parmigiana and fettuccine alfredo, according to a company representative. Entrees come with unlimited breadsticks and soup or salad.

Perry’s Steakhouse

This Texas-founded steakhouse is offering veterans a free dinner-cut pork chop when accompanied by a guest purchasing one dinner entree on Veterans Day. If dining alone or with other veterans, a dinner-cut pork chop will be 50% off, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Additionally, the restaurant’s military menu, which is typically available only before 6 p.m., will be available from 4 p.m. to close on Veterans Day. The military menu offers three courses for $39.

PJ’s Coffee

Concentrated mainly in Louisiana, PJ’s Coffee is giving all veterans and active-duty members a free 16-ounce hot or cold brew coffee on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Polly’s Pies

This Southern California chain is giving a free slice of pie for all veterans and active-duty military Nov. 10-11, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Round Table Pizza

While not exclusive to veterans, Round Table Pizza is offering code RTP321 for 15% off your order from Nov. 7-14, according to a company representative.

Santa Fe Cattle Co.

This Southwestern steakhouse is offering all veterans and active-duty military a free entree from the Lunch Express menu on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson. The Lunch Express menu offers a variety of options, including the Cheesy Cantina Burger and Smothered Chopped Sirloin.

Scooter’s Coffee

This Nebraska-based coffee drive-thru is offering veterans and active-duty military members a free medium drink on Veterans Day, according to a company representative. 

Smokey Bones

Barbecue chain Smokey Bones is offering a free entree to all veterans and active-duty military on Veterans Day, according to a company representative. Choose between bacon cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich or chicken tender platter with one regular side.

Sullivan’s Steakhouse

Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free Sullivan’s Signature Angus Burger with fries when dining in on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Tender Greens

The salad chain is offering veterans and active-duty service members 50% off their entire order, up to eight people, on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Teriyaki Madness

The fast-casual Asian bowl chain is offering all veterans and active-duty service members a free bowl of their choice on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Texas Roadhouse

Veterans and active U.S. military can pick up a meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

The Green Turtle

This Mid-Atlantic sports bar is offering free meals for veterans up to $15 on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Tocaya

This Mexican restaurant chain in California and Arizona is offering 50% off dine-in orders for all veterans and their families on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Via 313

Known for its Detroit-style pizza, this Texas-based chain is offering all veterans and active-duty service members who dine in a $5 cheese bread. At Via 313’s San Antonio location, veterans and active-duty service members will receive a $10 Detroiter or cheese pizza, confirmed a company spokesperson.

Wendy’s

Wendy’s is giving those who served or are currently serving in the U.S. military a free breakfast combo during breakfast hours on Veterans Day, according to a company representative. Breakfast combos come with seasoned potatoes and a beverage, such as a sparkling energy drink, cold foam cold brew or hot coffee. 

White Castle

All veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free individual combo meal or breakfast combo meal on Veterans Day, according to a company representative.

Yard House

Yard House is giving veterans and active military members a complimentary appetizer on Veterans Day, confirmed a company spokesperson.
