Disney offering Disney+, Hulu subscribers new perks, discounts

(KTLA) — On Thursday, the Walt Disney Company revealed some exciting new benefits for Disney+ and Hulu members. The company is introducing programs that offer subscribers the chance to enjoy exclusive sweepstakes, special discounts, and experiences designed especially for fans.

Disney+ and bundle subscribers can now unlock a variety of offers, including:

  • A chance to win tickets to the “Freaky Friday” sequel world premiere, ahead of its theatrical release on August 8
  • A sweepstakes to win a four-night cruise aboard the Disney Destiny, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, launching in November
  • A free six-month Dash Pass membership from DoorDash (for new DashPass members)
  • Discounts including 20% off at adidas.com, 15% off at Funko.com and Loungefly.com, and early access to the closed release of Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs
  • Free trials for services such as Clear+ identity verification services, Super Duolingo and in-game bonuses from titles like “Disney Emoji Blitz” and “Monopoly GO!”

Additionally, subscribers can take advantage of summer deals at Walt Disney World Resort. This includes room rates starting as low as $99 per night at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort for stays of at least two nights.

Disney+ unveiled a similar program in 2023 during the holiday season.

Beginning June 2, Hulu will introduce its own set of perks for subscribers, adding weekly drops throughout the summer. These will include:

  • Chances to win tickets to Lollapalooza, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and San Diego Comic-Con
  • Sweepstakes tied to Hulu originals such as “The Handmaid’s Tale,” “A Complete Unknown” and “Only Murders in the Building”
  • Exclusive partner perks from brands like Microsoft, Pure Green and LG Electronics

More perks are expected to be released on a regular basis, according to the company.
