DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – An urgent boil water notice was announced by the city of Daytona Beach on Friday, caused by a power outage at the LPGA Boulevard water treatment facility.
Residents are strongly advised not to use tap water for pets, including dogs and cats, and to rely on bottled water until the advisory is cancelled.
The city said it’s working diligently to resolve the power issue and ensure the safety of the water supply.
