Eric Trump’s new book, “Under Siege: My Family’s Fight to Save Our Nation,” fervently details the myriad of attacks that President Donald Trump and his family have faced since they entered the political sphere.

Eric Trump joined ‘s “CUOMO” to discuss the upcoming book and his experience since the president came down the escalator in Trump Tower in 2015.

Eric highlighted that his father has been the target of “slanderous lies” throughout his political journey. He also discussed several raids that took place at Mar-a-Lago and other family residences, including young Barron Trump’s room.

Eric cited incidents like multiple Democratic states excluding President Trump from their ballots, two assassination attempts on his father’s life before the previous election, and the tragic assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as reasons for his family’s sense of being under constant threat.

“They besieged our family, my father, and myself. They have put the nation under siege for their own gains, just to secure a few extra votes, which is utterly wrong, and the nation needs to understand that.”

“The audience watching this needs to realize what these individuals have done because it’s illegal, it defies democracy, and it is the antithesis of what should occur in the United States.”

Trump also criticized media and political figures who often ask for the political rhetoric to be deescalated.

“I am eager to defuse tensions. We only desire a thriving nation, which is why we are engaged in this battle. We are literally dodging bullets,” he explained.

“… They have tried to kill us at every road, and honestly, the Democratic media has become the PR firm for the Democratic Party, but unfortunately, or fortunately, the American people aren’t buying it anymore.”
