KINGSPORT, Tenn. — A former nurse from the intensive care unit at Holston Valley Medical Center has been formally charged after an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). Authorities revealed that special agents from both the Medicaid Fraud Control Division and the Drug Investigation Division of the TBI initiated an inquiry into allegations concerning 32-year-old Joseph Juszak back in July. The investigation led to his indictment last week.
