TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. () – The owners of On Time Air, a heating and cooling company, are speaking out after their trailer, full of essential tools for servicing their clients, was reportedly stolen.

The crime has been caught on camera, and has obtained the footage.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, surveillance footage shows two men attaching the trailer, branded with On Time Air’s logo, to an unlicensed truck and driving away.

Per On Time Air Owner Bryan Donaldson, this happened just 11 minutes after servicing a client on Tybee Island on 5th and Butler Ave.

Donaldson said they leave the trailer locked at a client’s destination when there is a multi-day service, and this was the case here.

“This is a nice town, nice community, you wouldn’t think these things would happen, especially at 5:30 in the afternoon,” said Donaldson.

The trailer was carrying tools required for service.

However, On Time Air is not closing up shop, but that is coming with a hefty price.

“Without our tools, we can’t repair or maintain air conditioners,” one owner explained. “We’ve already spent $5,000 on replacing just the basic tools necessary for the next few days of work, and if we don’t recover the trailer soon, we’ll need to invest even more money to replace tools.”

For On Time Air keeping business open, especially with the scorching heat, is a priority.

“It’s not about how much money we can make,” said Donaldson. “It’s about our customers and our employees, keeping them working.”

Donaldson said he has 25 technicians in the employ of him and his business partner Sarah, and it is important for them to continue to come home with a paycheck.

Tybee Island Police (TPD) are now seeking a suspect who was last seen driving the truck with a distinctive bumper and discolored roof.

The same suspect is also wanted for allegedly stealing money, personal documents, and medication from a church parking lot on Tybee immediately before stealing the truck.

If you know anything about the suspect, truck, or incident, TPD requests you contact Detective Erica Coreno at (912) 786-5600 or email ecoreno@cityoftybee.gov.
